From Backbone State Park, head south on Backbone Road towards the town of Strawberry Point. Continue on Backbone Road until you reach the intersection with Highway 13. Turn left onto Highway 13 and continue driving for approximately 14 miles until you reach the town of Independence. Once in Independence, turn right onto Quasqueton Diagonal Blvd (this will be a slight left turn). Continue on Quasqueton Diagonal Blvd for about 2.5 miles, and you will find Cedar Rock State Park - Lowell and Agnes Walter Estate on your left at 2611 Quasqueton Diagonal Blvd, Independence, IA 50644.
