Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Downtown Des Moines, the Pappajohn Sculpture Park is easily reachable on foot. Start by heading towards 13th Street, which is located just a few blocks from the central area. Walk north on 13th Street until you reach Grand Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Grand Avenue, and continue walking for approximately 4 blocks. The park will be on your left side at 1330 Grand Ave.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, there are bike lanes along the main streets in Downtown Des Moines. You can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services like Des Moines B-Cycle. Head north on 13th Street from the central area, and then turn right onto Grand Avenue. The Pappajohn Sculpture Park is located on your left at 1330 Grand Ave. Remember to follow all bike traffic rules and wear a helmet.

• Public Transit

  To reach the Pappajohn Sculpture Park via public transit, you can take the DART (Des Moines Area Regional Transit) Bus.
