Getting There

Car
From Gitchie Manitou State Preserve, head southeast on the main park road until you reach the intersection with Highway 34. Turn left onto Highway 34 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Merge onto Interstate 29 South via the ramp on the left toward Sioux City. After about 12 miles, take exit 81 for 12th St/SD-42 toward Sioux Falls. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for SD-42 E. Continue on SD-42 for about 5 miles. Turn right onto 480th Ave, and the Good Earth State Park Visitor Center will be on your left at 26924 480th Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108. Parking is available at the center.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus stop in Sioux Falls. From Gitchie Manitou State Preserve, you will likely need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest bus stop (approximately 15 minutes away). Once in Sioux Falls, take the Sioux Area Metro bus Route 4, which operates on weekdays and weekends. Get off at the nearest stop to Good Earth State Park, which is around 1.5 miles from the Visitor Center. You may need to walk or use a rideshare service from the bus stop to reach the Visitor Center. Be sure to check the bus schedule for exact times, as service may vary.
