Car
Start your journey in Al-Jazeera by heading towards Baghdad. You will want to take the main road (Highway 1) leading to Baghdad. Once you reach Baghdad, continue straight until you reach the Al-Jadriya area. From there, follow signs for Al-Mansour and then head towards the Baghdad River. You will need to take the Al-Rusafa Bridge, which crosses the Tigris River. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs for Al-Khanzeer Island, which will be located to the southeast of the city center. The drive should take approximately 1 hour depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation
Begin your journey in Al-Jazeera and take a local bus or shared taxi heading to Baghdad. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Al-Jadriya area. From there, you can take another local bus or a taxi to reach the Al-Rusafa Bridge. After crossing the bridge, you can take a taxi to reach Um Al-Khanzeer Island. The total cost for the bus ride will be around 500 IQD, and the taxi fare from Al-Rusafa Bridge to the island may vary between 2000-5000 IQD depending on the distance and traffic.
