From Achill Sound, follow the R319 north towards The Valley. Continue for approximately 16km. The Valley House and Woodland Faerie Trail will be on your left. Parking is available at The Valley House. Note that roads on Achill Island can be narrow, so drive carefully.

Take Bus Éireann route 450 from Westport to Achill. Ask the driver to stop at The Valley. From the bus stop, The Valley House is a short walk away. Bus fare from Westport to Achill is approximately €10-€15.
