Loughwell Farm Park is a delightful destination located in the scenic Moycullen countryside of County Galway, offering a wide array of activities for families and children. This unique park combines elements of a working farm with an adventure park, providing an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. The park boasts a diverse range of attractions, including two purpose-built play villages where children can role-play as farmers, shopkeepers, firefighters, or doctors. For those who love the outdoors, there are huge sand dunes with slides, a large sand pit with a play boat, nest swings, timber obstacle courses, a straw bale maze, a zip wire, and pedal go-karts. If the weather isn't cooperating, the fun continues indoors with a disco and a giant obstacle bouncy castle. Loughwell Farm Park is also home to many friendly animals, including pot-bellied pigs, miniature and regular ponies, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens, donkeys, and rabbits. Visitors can meet and feed the animals, learn about their habits, and even hold a baby chick or bunny. The park also features a tea room called the Elderflower Restaurant, serving home-baked treats, cakes, scones, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy in the decked courtyard or picnic area. The park is designed to fit naturally into the Connemara landscape, with stone roundabouts, beech-lined walkways, timber play villages, and a duck pond. The park also has a large play barn with bouncy castles and a theater.
