Car
If you're driving from any location in County Clare, head towards Limerick City on the N18. Once you reach Limerick, follow the signs for N18/M18 towards Galway. Continue on the M18 for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the junction for N6 towards Galway City. Merge onto N6 and follow the signs for Galway. As you approach the city, take the exit towards Salthill/City Center. Continue straight until you reach the docks area. The Long Walk is located near the waterfront, and there is parking available nearby at local car parks (note that parking fees may apply).

For public transportation, take a bus from any town in County Clare to Galway City. Bus Eireann operates regular services from towns like Ennis and Shannon to Galway. Once in Galway, disembark at the Ceannt Station (the main bus station). From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to The Long Walk. Head east on Eyre Square, then follow the signs towards the docks. You’ll want to walk along the Quay until you reach The Long Walk. Bus fares vary depending on the distance, so check the Bus Eireann website for pricing.

Alternatively, you can take a train from Ennis to Galway. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes.
