After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto the R261 road towards Lough Eske. Continue along the R261 for about 1.5 miles. You'll see signs for Lough Eske and the surrounding area. Follow these signs until you reach the scenic lakeside. Parking is available at designated areas around Lough Eske.
Public Transportation
To reach Lough Eske using public transportation, start by taking a bus to Donegal Town. Bus Eireann operates services from various cities in Ireland to Donegal Town. Once you arrive at Donegal Town, you can take a local taxi or a shuttle service to Lough Eske. The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes and should cost approximately €10-€15. Walking/Biking
