Driving
From Waterville, take the N70 towards Caherdaniel. After approximately 1 kilometer, look for the brown heritage sign for 'Loher Stone Fort'. Turn right and follow the local road for approximately 800 meters until you see the fort on your right. Note that the roads leading to the fort are narrow country roads. Parking is limited to about three spaces. There are no fees to enter the site.

If you are in Caherdaniel village, a scenic walking route to Loher Stone Fort is approximately 2 km and will take about 30 minutes. Follow the road from Caherdaniel, keeping the coast on your right. Look for signs pointing towards Loher Fort, and enjoy the beautiful views along the way. There are no costs associated with walking to the fort.
