Take the R290 exit towards Ballina and follow the road for about 15 km. When you reach the village of Easkey, turn left onto the R297. Follow this road for approximately 6 km until you reach Dunmoran Strand. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the beach, as there is a parking area available right next to the strand.

To reach Dunmoran Strand via public transport, take a bus from Sligo town. Bus Eireann operates services to Easkey. Check the latest timetable on their website, as it can vary. Once you arrive in Easkey, you can either walk to Dunmoran Strand, which is about 6 km away, or consider taking a local taxi. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours and offers scenic views along the way. If you opt for a taxi, expect to pay around €10-€15 for the short ride to the beach.
