If you are driving from Sligo town, head southwest on the N4. Continue on the N4 for about 6 km until you reach the exit for the R291 towards Strandhill. Follow the R291 for approximately 4 km, and as you approach Strandhill, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Killaspugbrone. The site is located near the beach and can be reached by turning onto Killaspugbrone Road. There is limited parking available near the site.

To reach Killaspugbrone by public transport, take a bus from Sligo town center to Strandhill. Bus services operated by Bus Éireann (Route 64) run regularly throughout the day. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Strandhill, walk towards the beach, following the signs for Killaspugbrone. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the site.

If you're already in Strandhill, you can easily walk to Killaspugbrone. Start from the main beach area and head towards the southern end of the beach. Follow the coastal path which leads directly to Killaspugbrone. This scenic walk will take about 20 minutes and offers beautiful views along the way.
