Continue on this road for approximately 16 kilometers until you reach the sign for Coolkenno. Once you enter Coolkenno, follow the local signs for Rathgall Hillfort. The fort is located on Rath East; you will see it on your right once you reach the area. There is a small parking area nearby where you can leave your car.

    To reach Rathgall Hillfort using public transportation, take a bus from Wicklow Town to Baltinglass. The Bus Eireann route 132 will take you to Baltinglass. From Baltinglass, you’ll need to take a taxi or arrange for a local taxi service, as public transport options are limited. Inform the taxi driver you want to go to Rathgall Hillfort, located in Coolkenno, which is about 10 kilometers away from Baltinglass. Be sure to confirm the fare before the ride.
