Look for signs leading to the R264 towards Ardara. Follow the R264 for approximately 15 km. Keep an eye out for a sign indicating Assaranca Waterfall (Eas a' Ranca), which will direct you onto an unnamed road. The waterfall is located just off this road, and you can park your car nearby. Note that some parking may be limited, so an early arrival is advisable.

To reach Assaranca Waterfall using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Donegal Town to Ardara. Bus Eireann operates routes that can get you to Ardara. Once you arrive in Ardara, you will need to take a taxi or walk approximately 3 km to reach the waterfall. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as service may be limited, especially on weekends. Additionally, the taxi fare from Ardara to the waterfall would typically cost around €10-€15.
