From Drogheda, walk to Drogheda Train Station. It is located in the city center, and you can ask locals for directions if needed. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Dun Laoghaire. Trains typically run regularly, so check the schedule on the Irish Rail website or at the station. The journey to Dun Laoghaire will take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Upon arrival at Dun Laoghaire Station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the port, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Head to the nearest bus stop in Drogheda. You can take Bus Eireann's Route 100 or Route 101 towards Dublin. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the correct times. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Dublin, transfer to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) at either Pearse Station or Tara Street Station. Board a DART train towards Bray or Greystones and alight at Dun Laoghaire Station. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Dun Laoghaire Port.
