Getting There

Walking
Start at the Drogheda Bus Station located on the West Street. Exit the station and head south on West Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Boyne River. Cross the bridge over the River Boyne to get to the south side. Once across the bridge, take a right onto the South Quay and then continue along it until you reach the next major intersection. At this intersection, turn left onto the Dublin Road (R132) and follow it for about 10 minutes until you reach the Drogheda Train Station. From here, take a train to Dublin. You will need to board a train heading towards Dublin Connolly station. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly station, exit the station and head towards O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, take a left onto Abbey Street and continue towards the Luas tram line. Board the Luas Red Line tram heading towards The Point. Get off at the Smithfield stop. From there, walk west on Smithfield Square until you reach Benburb Street. The National Museum of Ireland-Decorative Arts & History is located at Collins Barracks, Benburb Street, Stoneybatter, Dublin, D07 XKV4.
