From Drogheda, make your way to the Drogheda Bus Station located on Donore Road. Take a Bus Eireann service towards Dublin (Bus number 100, 101, or 190) and disembark at Busaras (Dublin Bus Station). From Busaras, walk to the nearby Bus Stop on Abbey Street, and take Dublin Bus route 120 towards Phoenix Park. Alight at the Collins Barracks stop. The National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History is right across the street.

Head to Drogheda Train Station, located on the Dublin Road. Take a train on the Dublin to Belfast route and get off at the next stop, which is Dublin Connolly Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, take Dublin Bus route 120 towards Phoenix Park and get off at the Collins Barracks stop, which is a short walk from the museum.

If you are already in Drogheda city center, head towards the Drogheda Bus Station and catch the next bus to Dublin. Alternatively, you can walk to Drogheda Train Station and take a train to Dublin Connolly Station. Once in Dublin, you can enjoy a scenic walk from Connolly Station to Collins Barracks. It’s about a 30-minute walk, and you can follow the route along Abbey Street, crossing the River Liffey, and then continue on to Benburb Street until you reach Collins Barracks.
