Car
If you are driving from the Wicklow Mountains to the National Library of Ireland located at 7-8 Kildare St, Dublin 2, D02 P638, start by heading northeast on the R756 towards the N81. Merge onto the N81 and follow it until you reach the M50. Take the M50 northbound towards Dublin. After approximately 30 km, take exit 12 for the N4 towards the City Centre. Continue on the N4 and follow signs for the city center. Once you reach O'Connell Street, turn onto Parnell Square, then take a left onto Kildare Street. The National Library of Ireland will be on your left. Parking is available in nearby car parks but may incur a fee, typically ranging from €2 to €4 per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach the National Library of Ireland using public transport, take a bus from any location in the Wicklow Mountains to Wicklow Town. From Wicklow Town, catch the 133 bus heading to Dublin. This bus will take you to Dublin city center. Get off at the O'Connell Street stop. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride. If walking, head towards Parnell Square, then turn left onto Kildare Street, and the National Library will be on your left. The bus fare is approximately €7-€10 depending on the time of travel.

Train
For train travelers, you can take a train from Wicklow to Dublin. First, head to Wicklow train station and board a train towards Dublin Heuston. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Heuston Station, you can take a taxi or use the Luas (tram) to get to the city center. If taking the Luas, board the red line towards The Point and get off at O'Connell/Abbey Street. From there, walk to Kildare Street by heading to Parnell Square and turning left. The National Library of Ireland will be on your left. Train fares vary but expect to pay around €10-€15.
