Car
From the center of Glendalough, head southeast on the R756 road towards the village of Laragh. Continue on the R756 for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto the R747 road. Follow the R747 for approximately 4 kilometers, passing through the scenic countryside. As you approach Ballybawn, keep an eye out for signs indicating Glensoulan Valley. There will be a small parking area near the entrance to the valley.

Public Transportation
From Glendalough, walk to the nearest bus stop located along the R756 road. You can catch a bus heading towards Laragh. Make sure to check the local bus schedule as services may vary. Once you arrive in Laragh, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to Glensoulan Valley, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. If walking, follow the R747 road until you reach the valley entrance.

Walking
If you are already in the Glendalough area and prefer to hike, you can take the scenic route to Glensoulan Valley. Start by heading south on the Wicklow Way trail from Glendalough. This trail will provide beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will arrive at Glensoulan Valley. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep in parts.
