Car
From Glendalough, head southeast on the R756 road. Continue along the R756 for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the T-junction. Turn right onto the R747 road. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive at a small village called Lacken. Look for the 'Unnamed Road' sign. Turn left onto this road, and after a few hundred meters, you will find Lacken Fairy Woods on your right. Parking is available along the roadside.

From Glendalough, take the Bus Éireann route 133 towards Kilkenny. Get off at the Lacken stop, which is a short drive of about 20 minutes from Glendalough. Once you arrive in Lacken, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along the 'Unnamed Road' towards the woods. Follow the road until you see the entrance to Lacken Fairy Woods.
