Turn right onto the N10 and follow the road out of Kilkenny city. This path is approximately 2.5 km long. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards the M9 motorway. As you approach the M9, look for a bus stop along the route.

From Kilkenny city center, walk to the bus station located on Parliament Street. Here, you can catch a bus to Cashel, which is the nearest town to Hore Abbey. The bus journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Cashel, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, Hore Abbey is about a 15-minute walk. Head southwest on the R659 road, then take a right onto Abbey Lane. Follow Abbey Lane until you reach Hore Abbey.
