If you are starting from Kilkenny Castle, head down the tree-lined pathway towards the River Nore. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue straight on the opposite side until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto John Street. Follow John Street until you see a right turn onto the Medieval Mile, which is marked with signs. Continue walking straight, and you will see St. Mary's Medieval Mile Museum on your left, just past the intersection with the High Street.

If you are near Kilkenny Train Station, take a local bus (Bus Éireann) towards the city center. Disembark at the stop closest to High Street. From there, navigate towards the Medieval Mile by heading down High Street. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with John Street. Turn right onto John Street and continue until you see St. Mary's Medieval Mile Museum on your left. The bus service is frequent, making it a convenient option.
