If you are traveling by car, head towards Muckross Boathouse, located at Muckross, Killarney, Co. Kerry. From Killarney town center, follow the N71 road, which will lead you directly into Killarney National Park. Continue on N71 for about 4 km until you reach the entrance to Muckross Park. Once in the park, follow the signs for Muckross House and Gardens. As you pass Muckross House, keep following the road until you reach the Muckross Boathouse, where the boat tours are located. There is parking available near the boathouse, but be aware there may be a small parking fee.

If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a local bus service from Killarney town to Muckross. Check with local providers for current bus schedules, as they may vary. The bus will drop you off at the entrance of Killarney National Park, from which you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the Muckross Boathouse. Follow the path that leads towards Muckross House, and then continue along the road until you arrive at the boathouse. Be prepared for some walking, and wear comfortable shoes. Note that bus fares may apply, so have some change or a transport card ready.
