After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Killarney National Park. Continue straight on the road until you see signs for the Killarney National Park Car Park, which is located at Cloghereen Upper. The car park is well signposted and is a public parking space that is open 24 hours a day. Note that parking fees may apply, so be sure to check for any signage regarding payment.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Killarney town center that heads towards the National Park. Look for buses that are labeled for Killarney National Park or nearby areas. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the park entrance. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the Killarney National Park Car Park located at Cloghereen Upper. Follow the pedestrian paths and look for signs directing you to the car park.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Killarney town. Head southwest on the N71 road following the same route as if you were driving. There are designated cycling paths in some areas.
