From Killarney town center, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Killarney Bus Station located on Park Road. Take the Bus Eireann Route 40 towards Kenmare. Inform the driver that you are heading to Glanrastel, Co. Kerry, which is the closest stop to the Caha Mountains. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Glanrastel, disembark the bus.

After getting off at Glanrastel, walk south along the main road (N71) for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating trails leading into the Caha Mountains. You should enter a pathway that leads into the mountain area; follow the marked trails to explore the scenic views of the mountains.
