Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Killarney Town Centre, head to the Killarney Bus Station located on Park Road. Take Bus Route 40 towards Tralee. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Crag Cave. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs directing you to Crag Cave, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start at the Killarney National Park entrance and follow the path towards Muckross House. From there, head towards the Gap of Dunloe Road and continue on the N22. It's a long walk (approximately 7 km) but very scenic. Keep an eye out for signposts directing you to Crag Cave along the way. The cave is located at Crag, Co. Kerry, V92 XK51.
