Getting There

  • Walking

    From the town center of Killarney, head south on Main Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N71 (Muckross Road). Continue walking on the N71 for approximately 2.5 kilometers. You will pass by the Killarney National Park entrance on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the Muckross House entrance. Muckross Lake is located just a short walk behind Muckross House. Follow the signs to the lake.
