Walking
From Killarney town center, head west on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the N71 road. Turn right onto N71. Walk approximately 1 km, passing the Killarney National Park entrance on your left. Continue along the path through the park until you reach the Old Weir Bridge, which is situated about 1.5 km inside the park. Look for signs directing you to the bridge along the walking trails.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Killarney town center. Head west on Main Street, then turn right onto N71. Cycle for about 1 km until you reach the entrance of Killarney National Park. Once inside, follow the designated cycling paths towards Old Weir Bridge, which is about 1.5 km from the park entrance. There are signs along the way to help guide you.

Take the local bus from Killarney town center heading towards Killarney National Park. Alight at the stop closest to the park entrance. From there, walk straight into the park along the main trail. Follow the signs towards Old Weir Bridge. It is about a 1.5 km walk from the bus stop to the bridge.
