Car
If you are driving from the Wicklow Mountains, take the R755 road towards Bray. Continue on the R755 until you reach the junction with the N11. Merge onto the N11 towards Dublin. After approximately 9 kilometers, take the exit for Killiney (N31). Follow the signs for Killiney Strand, and after about 3 kilometers, you will arrive at the beach area. There is parking available nearby, which may incur a small fee.

To reach Killiney Strand using public transport, you can take the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) from any station in the Wicklow Mountains area. Head towards Bray and get off at Killiney Station. From the station, it’s approximately a 15-minute walk to the beach. Exit the station and head south on Killiney Hill Road, then take a left onto the N31. Follow the road down to the Strand. Note that the DART ticket prices vary based on your starting point, so check the current fare.
