Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Glendalough. Head west on the R756 towards Laragh. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the R755. Turn left onto the R755 and follow the signs for Wicklow Gap. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach a fork; keep right to stay on the R756. Follow this road for approximately another 5 kilometers until you see a sign for Lough Firrib. Turn left and follow the narrow road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the car park near the lake.

For those using public transport, take a bus from Dublin to Glendalough. Bus services such as the 133 or 183 will take you directly to Glendalough Visitor Centre. From there, you can consider taking a local taxi to Lough Firrib which is approximately a 15-minute drive. It's advisable to book your taxi in advance as services may have limited availability.
