Walking
Start from the Ballasalla Train Station. Exit the station and head north on the main road (A5). Walk along the pavement, passing the shops and cafes on your left. Continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5, continuing straight. After about 0.5 miles, you'll notice a footpath on your right leading towards Monks Bridge. Follow the footpath, which will take you directly to the bridge.

Walking
If you are in the centre of Ballasalla, make your way towards the main road, the A5. Walk towards the railway bridge and cross under it. Once you are on the other side of the bridge, take a right onto the footpath that runs alongside the river. Continue along this path until you see Monks Bridge ahead. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes.

Cycling
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Ballasalla. Start at the Ballasalla Village Centre and cycle north towards the A5. Turn left onto the A5 and follow the road for about 0.5 miles. Look for the footpath on your right that leads to Monks Bridge. The cycling route is straightforward and takes about 10 minutes.
