If you're traveling by car, start from the Arava area and head towards the border crossing at Eilat. Follow Route 90 north until you reach the border. Once you cross the border into Jordan, continue on the main highway (Route 15) towards Wadi Musa. The Petra Visitor Center is located on Tourist Street in Wadi Musa, approximately 10 km from the border. Expect to pay a border crossing fee, which can vary based on nationality, so check in advance.

For public transportation, take a bus from Eilat to the Jordanian border (the bus typically departs from the Eilat central bus station). Once at the border, you will need to walk through customs to enter Jordan. After crossing, you can catch a taxi or a local bus from the border to Wadi Musa. The taxi ride will take about 1 hour and may cost around 30-50 Jordanian Dinar (JOD). Buses may be cheaper but check local schedules as they can be less frequent.
