Getting There

    From the Petra Visitor Center, head south on the main path towards the Siq. Walk through the Siq until you reach the Treasury. After admiring the Treasury, continue straight along the path towards the Street of Facades. Walk past the Royal Tombs on your left and continue towards the Nabatean Theatre. Once you reach the theatre, look for a path leading up to your right. This path will take you towards the Djinn Blocks area. Follow this path, and you should see the Djinn Blocks in the distance as you ascend. It’s advisable to take your time as the area is steep and may require some climbing.

    If you are starting from the Wadi Musa town area, make your way towards the Petra Visitor Center. From there, follow the previous route through the Siq and to the Treasury. After the Treasury, you can follow the same steps as above. The total walking distance from Wadi Musa to the Djinn Blocks is approximately 2.5 kilometers, and it may take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
