Getting There

Car
From any location in the Central District, take Highway 90 southbound towards Eilat. Continue on Highway 90 until you reach the junction for Route 1 (Jerusalem). Merge onto Route 1 and follow the signs for Masada. After about 1 hour of driving, you will see signs for Masada National Park. There is a parking lot available at the entrance, where you can park for a fee (approximately 30 ILS for a day).

Start by taking a bus from your location in the Central District to the nearest central bus station, such as the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station. From there, take a bus to Eilat operated by Egged Bus Company. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus that stops at Masada. The bus ride to Masada takes about 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arrival, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes from the bus stop to the Masada National Park entrance. There may be a small fee for park entrance (around 28 ILS).
