Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Jerusalem. Use the main roads leading to the Old City. Navigate towards Jaffa Gate, which is one of the main entrances to the Old City. Once you reach Jaffa Gate, you can find parking nearby (note that parking in the Old City is limited and may incur a fee). After parking, walk through Jaffa Gate and head towards the Western Wall. Follow the signs directing you to the Western Wall, which is a short 10-15 minute walk from the gate.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For public transport, you can take a bus to the Old City. Look for bus lines 1, 2, or 38 that stop at the Old City. Get off at the stop for the Old City and walk towards Jaffa Gate. Once you enter through Jaffa Gate, follow the signs to the Western Wall. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from there.

• Public Transportation - Light Rail

  The Jerusalem Light Rail is another convenient option. Take the light rail to the 'City Hall' station or 'Jaffa Center' station. From either of these stations, you can walk to the Old City. Follow the pedestrian signs to Jaffa Gate. Once through Jaffa Gate, head towards the Western Wall, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk away.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Old City, walking is a great option. Make your way to Jaffa Gate. After entering through the gate, follow the signs that lead to the Western Wall. The walk from Jaffa Gate to the Western Wall takes about 10-15 minutes.
