Getting There

Public Bus
From Modi'in, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the central bus station (תחנת אוטובוס מרכזית). Take the bus number 180 or 181 towards Jerusalem. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Tzahal Square' (כיכר צה"ל) stop in Jerusalem. From there, walk towards the Old City. You will see signs directing you towards the Temple Mount. Follow the path and enter through the Dung Gate (שער האשפות). The Temple Mount will be on your left after you enter the area.

Train
Head to the Modi'in train station and take a train to Jerusalem's Yitzhak Navon Station. The train ride takes approximately 20-25 minutes. Upon arrival at Yitzhak Navon Station, follow the signs to exit the station and take Bus number 1 or 99 towards the Old City. Get off at the 'Western Wall' (הכותל המערבי) stop. From there, walk towards the Temple Mount, entering through the Dung Gate (שער האשפות). The Temple Mount will be directly ahead.

Walking
While this option is longer, if you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route. Start from the center of Modi'in and head towards the main road (Route 443). Follow this road until you reach the entrance to Jerusalem, which is approximately 10 km away. Upon entering Jerusalem, continue walking towards the Old City. Look for the Dung Gate (שער האשפות) which leads directly to the Temple Mount area.
