By Car
If you are driving, take the A22 Autostrada del Brennero highway and exit at Bolzano Nord. Follow signs for the SS38 road towards Merano. After about 7 km, take the exit towards Ritten (Rittner Straße). Continue on Rittner Straße for approximately 15 km until you reach the center of Ritten. Be sure to check for parking options as you approach.
By Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
Start your journey at Bolzano train station. Take a regional train towards Brennero and get off at the Bolzano Sud station. From there, you can catch Bus 165, which goes directly to Ritten. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as frequencies may vary.
By Cable Car
For a scenic route, take the cable car from Bolzano to Ritten. First, head to the 'Talstation' (valley station) of the Ritten cable car, located near the main train station in Bolzano. The cable car ride takes about 12 minutes and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Note that a round-trip ticket costs approximately €10. Once you arrive at the top, you can explore the area on foot.
