Walking
From the center of Amalfi, start at the Amalfi Cathedral (Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea). Head towards the main road (Corso della Repubblica) and walk in the direction of the sea. Continue straight until you reach the bus station (Piazza Flavio Gioia). From there, take the Sita bus towards Naples and ask the driver to drop you at the stop for Discesa Gaiola, which is near the protected marine area. Once you get off the bus, walk down Discesa Gaiola, following the signs towards the Area Marina Protetta Parco Sommerso di Gaiola. It’s about a 10-minute walk downhill to reach the entrance.

From the Amalfi bus station (Piazza Flavio Gioia), take the Sita bus towards Naples. Ensure you check the schedule as buses may vary throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to stop at Discesa Gaiola. After getting off the bus, walk down the slope of Discesa Gaiola. Follow the path leading to the Area Marina Protetta Parco Sommerso di Gaiola, which will take around 10 minutes.
