If you are in Amalfi, head to the main harbor area (Porto di Amalfi). Look for the ferry terminal signs. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Naples. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and offers beautiful views of the coastline. Once you arrive at the Naples ferry terminal, follow the signs to the exit.

After arriving in Naples, exit the ferry terminal and walk to the nearby 'Stazione Marittima' bus terminal. Look for the ANM bus services. Take bus line R2 towards 'Piazza Garibaldi'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Cavour'. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Piazzetta del, Via del Grande Archivio, 5.

If you prefer walking from 'Piazza Cavour', exit the bus and walk towards 'Via Foria'. Continue straight until you reach 'Corso Garibaldi'. Turn left onto 'Via del Grande Archivio'. Follow this street until you reach 'Piazzetta del, Via del Grande Archivio, 5'. The State Archives of Naples will be on your right.
