Car
If you are driving from Aosta, take the A5 motorway towards Ivrea. After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Bard. Follow the signs for Bard, and continue on the SP46 road. You will reach the town of Bard in about 10 minutes. Once in Bard, follow the signs to the Fort of Bard, which is located on Via Vittorio Emanuele II. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Fort of Bard via public transportation, take a train from Aosta to Bard. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bard train station, exit and walk towards Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Follow the road signs directing you to the Fort, which is a short 10-minute walk uphill. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Aosta to Bard; the bus ride will also take about 30 minutes. Check local schedules for exact times.
