If you're traveling by car, start from your location in Apulia and head towards the A14 highway. Follow signs for Taranto and continue on the A14 until you reach the exit for Matera (exit 75). Merge onto SS7 and follow it for approximately 30 km. Once you reach Matera, follow the signs to the city center. You will arrive at Ponte S. Pietro Caveoso, where Casa Cisterna is located at number 39. Be aware that parking in Matera may require a fee; look for designated parking areas.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a train from major cities in Apulia such as Bari or Taranto to Matera. Trains are operated by Trenitalia and the journey from Bari to Matera takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arriving at Matera train station, take bus line 1 or 2 (tickets cost around €1.50) towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Vittorio Veneto' and walk towards Ponte S. Pietro Caveoso.
