    If you're driving from the city of Bari, take the A14 highway towards Taranto. Exit at 'Matera' and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Matera, look for parking options. Note that parking in the historical center can be limited, so consider parking at the Parcheggio Via Lucana (about a 10-minute walk to Piazza Duomo). After parking, walk towards Via Duomo; the square will be on your left.
