Walking
To reach Scoglio di Santa Rita from the center of Assisi, start at Piazza del Comune. Head east on Via Giuseppe Mazzini until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and continue walking straight. After about 800 meters, you will arrive at the entrance of the Basilica di Santa Chiara. From there, continue straight on Via Santa Chiara, which will lead you uphill. Follow the signs for Roccaporena. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Scoglio di Santa Rita. The last part of the walk might be steep, so take your time and enjoy the beautiful views along the way.

From the center of Assisi, go to the bus station located near Piazza Matteotti. Take the bus heading to Roccaporena. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Roccaporena bus stop, exit the bus, and you will find signs pointing to Scoglio di Santa Rita. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the site. Follow the signs, and you will encounter a beautiful pathway leading to the location.
