Walking
Start from the main square in Assisi, Piazza del Comune. Exit the square and head northeast on Corso Mazzini. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Basilica di San Francesco. From the basilica, take the road up the hill, Via Eremo delle Carceri. Follow this road for approximately 30 minutes, enjoying the scenic views. You will eventually see signs for Eremo delle Carceri. Continue until you reach the entrance at Via Eremo delle Carceri, 38.
Bus
From the Piazza del Comune in Assisi, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Viale Guglielmo Marconi. Board the bus towards 'Eremo delle Carceri'. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the latest timings. Get off at the stop 'Eremo delle Carceri'.
