    If you're starting from the Bergamo Città Alta (Upper Town), begin by heading down Via Gombito towards Piazza Vecchia. Once you reach Piazza Vecchia, take Via Colleoni and continue straight until you reach the funicular station. Take the funicular down to Città Bassa (Lower Town). Upon exiting the funicular, walk straight along Viale Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach the intersection with Via XX Settembre. Turn left onto Via XX Settembre and continue walking until you reach the train station (Stazione di Bergamo). From the train station, you can catch a train to Milan. After arriving at Milano Centrale, transfer to Metro Line 2 (Green Line) towards Cologno Nord or Gessate. Get off at the Garibaldi station and transfer to Metro Line 5 (Purple Line) towards Garibaldi FS. Get off at the Cenisio station. From there, walk towards the Arco della Pace located in Piazza Sempione. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours including transfers.
