Piazzale Luigi Cadorna: A Gateway to Milan

Getting There

• Metro

  If you're starting from the city center, head to the nearest metro station, which could be Duomo or Cadorna. If you're at Duomo, take Line 1 (Red Line) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS and get off at the Cadorna stop. From the Cadorna station, exit and follow the signs to Piazzale Luigi Cadorna. Upon exiting the station, you will see the square directly in front of you.

• Tram

  Look for Tram Line 1 or Tram Line 19. If you're near the Duomo, catch Tram Line 1 from Via Orefici, direction Sesto 1 Maggio FS. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Cadorna stop, which is located right next to Piazzale Luigi Cadorna. Alternatively, if you are near the Castello Sforzesco, you can take Tram Line 19 from Castello towards Piazza XXIV Maggio and get off at Cadorna.

• Bus

  Find a nearby bus stop and check for buses that go to Piazzale Cadorna. Bus Lines 43 and 58 frequently service this area. If you are near the Duomo, catch Bus Line 54 from Via Marconi and get off at the Cadorna stop. Once you get off, you will see Piazzale Luigi Cadorna ahead.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the city center, you may choose to walk to Piazzale Luigi Cadorna. From the Duomo, it's approximately a 15-minute walk. Head north on Via Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach Piazza della Scala. Continue straight on Via Filodrammatici and turn left onto Via Manzoni. Then, turn right onto Via Cadorna, which will lead you directly to Piazzale Luigi Cadorna.
