From Bergamo train station (Stazione di Bergamo), take a train to Varenna-Esino. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Varenna-Esino station, exit the station and follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Take the ferry from Varenna to Bellagio, which takes about 15-20 minutes. When you disembark in Bellagio, head towards Via Lungo Lario Manzoni, where the I Giardini di Villa Melzi is located.

From Bergamo, take the bus line 1 to the Bergamo train station (Stazione di Bergamo). From there, catch a train to Varenna-Esino. After arriving at Varenna-Esino, walk to the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Bellagio. Upon arriving in Bellagio, walk towards Via Lungo Lario Manzoni to reach I Giardini di Villa Melzi.

If you are already in Varenna or another town along Lake Como, you can take a ferry directly to Bellagio. The ferry terminal in Varenna is well-signposted, and the ride to Bellagio takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bellagio ferry terminal, exit and walk towards Via Lungo Lario Manzoni to find I Giardini di Villa Melzi.
