Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Bergamo city center, head to the Bergamo train station (Stazione di Bergamo), which is about a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride (Bus 1 or 1E). At the train station, purchase a ticket for a train to Lecco. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Lecco station, exit the station and head towards Piazza XX Settembre. This is a 10-minute walk: exit the station, turn right onto Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi, continue straight, cross the bridge, and then follow the signs to Piazza XX Settembre. The Palazzo delle Paure is located at Piazza XX Settembre, 22.

• Walking

  If you are already in the historical center of Bergamo, head towards the Funicolare (funicular railway) station at Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Take the funicular to the upper city (Città Alta). Once at the top, walk down Via Gombito towards Piazza Vecchia, then follow the signs to the lower city (Città Bassa) via the stairs or streets leading down. Once in Città Bassa, continue walking towards the train station (Stazione di Bergamo) to catch a train to Lecco. After reaching Lecco, follow the previous instructions.

• Bus

  From the central bus station in Bergamo (Piazzale Marconi), take the bus to Lecco. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach the Lecco bus station, exit and walk towards Piazza XX Settembre, which is about a 10-minute walk straight down the main road. Look for signs directing you towards the piazza. The Palazzo delle Paure will be located at Piazza XX Settembre, 22.
