Walking
From the center of Bologna, head to the main square, Piazza Maggiore. From here, take Via Rizzoli towards the Due Torri (Two Towers). Once you reach the Two Towers, turn left onto Via Santo Stefano and walk straight until you reach Via San Vitale. Turn right onto Via San Vitale and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via di San Luca. Turn left onto Via di San Luca and continue walking for about 20 minutes. You will see the Devotional Portico of St. Luke ahead, marked by a beautiful archway leading up the hill.

Public Transport
From Bologna Centrale train station, take the bus number 20 towards 'San Luca'. Get off at the stop 'San Luca' which is the closest stop to the Devotional Portico. From the bus stop, it is a short walk up the hill via a path that leads to the Portico. Follow the signs for 'Portico di San Luca' and enjoy the scenic walk through the arches.

Walking (Alternative Route)
If you prefer a longer but scenic route, start at the Basilica di San Petronio in Piazza Maggiore. Walk along Via Ugo Bassi until you reach Via Indipendenza. Take a right on Via Indipendenza and proceed until you reach the park, Giardini Margherita. Walk through the park towards Via di San Luca. This route is more picturesque and will take you about 40 minutes. Once you reach Via di San Luca, continue walking until you see the Devotional Portico of St. Luke.
