If you're driving from central Brianza, take the SS36 (Strada Statale 36) towards Lecco. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Lierna. Continue on Via Scura for about 2 km until you reach Lierna Castle. There is limited parking available near the castle, so be prepared for a short walk to the entrance.

For those opting for public transportation, take a train from Milan to Lecco. Trains run frequently from Milano Centrale to Lecco, and the journey takes about 40-50 minutes. From Lecco station, transfer to the local train heading towards Sondrio and get off at Lierna station (approximately 10 minutes). From the station, it is a 15-minute walk to Lierna Castle. Exit the station and head south on Via Roma, then continue straight until you reach Via Scura.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Lecco to Lierna. Catch the bus from Lecco's main bus station (Stazione FS) that goes directly to Lierna. The bus ride takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lierna bus stop, it is just a short 10-minute walk to Lierna Castle. Head southeast on Via Scura, and you will reach your destination.
