From Catania city center, head to the 'Stazione Centrale' bus terminal. Look for the AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti) bus service heading towards Taormina. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Taormina bus station, exit the terminal and follow the signs towards the 'Funivia' (cable car) station. Take the cable car up to Taormina. After exiting the cable car, walk straight towards Corso Umberto I, the main street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Villa Comunale di Taormina on Via Bagnoli Croci.

From Catania, make your way to 'Catania Centrale' train station. Purchase a ticket for a train to Taormina-Giardini station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Taormina-Giardini, exit the station and catch a local bus or taxi to Taormina city center. If you choose to walk, it’s a scenic 30-minute uphill walk to the town. Once in Taormina, head towards Corso Umberto I and follow it for about 10 minutes until you reach the Villa Comunale di Taormina located on Via Bagnoli Croci.
