Train and Walk
If you are in Monterosso al Mare, take the train towards La Spezia. Get off at the Vernazza station (approximately 5 minutes). From Vernazza, follow the signs to the hiking trail (Sentiero Azzurro) towards Corniglia. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views. After about 1 hour of hiking, you will reach Corniglia. Continue on the trail from Corniglia to Groppo, which will take an additional 1.5 hours. Once in Groppo, follow the local signs to the Agricultural Cooperative Society 5 Terre, located in the village.

Boat and Walk
Start your journey from Riomaggiore. Take the ferry to Manarola. Once you arrive in Manarola, enjoy the scenic views and then take the train to Vernazza. From Vernazza, hike via the Sentiero Azzurro to Corniglia (about 1 hour). From Corniglia, continue on the hiking trail to Groppo (approximately 1.5 hours). Look for signs directing you to the Agricultural Cooperative Society 5 Terre in Groppo.

If you are in Corniglia, you can hike directly to Groppo. Follow the signs for the hiking trail that leads towards Groppo. The hike is approximately 45 minutes and is relatively easy. Enjoy the beautiful vineyards and landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Groppo, look for signs for the Agricultural Cooperative Society 5 Terre.

Bus from La Spezia
Take the local bus from La Spezia to Manarola. From Manarola, you can either hike to Groppo or take the train to Vernazza and hike from there. If you choose to hike, follow the Sentiero Azzurro trail. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes and buses run regularly. Once in Groppo, the Agricultural Cooperative Society 5 Terre is well-marked.
